Cara Schorr, MA, CCC-SLP

Cara Schorr, MS, CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from SUNY Cortland and her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from Saint Louis University where she was awarded top honor of graduating with great distinction. She was an Early Intervention Grant Fellowship recipient giving her the opportunity to attend specialized training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), infant feeding/swallowing, treatment efficacy and counseling families.

Cara is passionate about working with children ages 0-5 and strongly believes in treating the whole child through fostering collaboration between parent, educators, therapists, and medical personnel. She believes parents are their child's best advocate. Her areas of interest include feeding and oral motor therapy, articulation, apraxia, expressive and receptive language. Cara has worked in a variety of settings including non-profit and private practice. She is currently employed part time by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) working in the Infants and Toddlers Program.
